Hi, all.
I will not be able to extract myself from a concurrent meeting today, but a few things to report:
As mentioned, BCLA proposal drafts at: https://docs.google.com/document/d/18eGDZvLlWh996ocO9qxyBAQ1RfjTjx_qbMLoLTX…
This is due next Thursday, I believe, so I'm happy to revise/tweak based on group input. The big question is determining the speaker for the first session - basically it's scripted for Arthur Gill Green, as discussed with Lin and Brenda. Who would ask him about this?
UFV update: I have had a discussion about open textbook adoptions with our trades programs director, and I trying to have Rod Lidstone come and talk to our trades faculty. Rod is willing, and is currently doing some collaboration with someone at UFV, so it depends on the collective interest/admin pressure to arrange a guest appearance.
I will be attending ALS on December 9th. Let me know if you need me to help with anything that day.
Thanks.

Hello All,
Tomorrow I will have to miss the meeting as I'm on the reference desk but here is the work Caroline, Kevin and I have put together regarding the website:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1kUngbxJvHQqPjV45A9jDxMQ9CFkMOW1dSkwg_Db…
Each content section is linked out to a google doc with the information we've written so far. We are waiting on access to the website at this point but welcome everyone/anyone to review the web content and add comments.
Best,
Erin

Hello, folks.
With input from Lin and Brenda, I have (finally) finished putting together two session proposal drafts for BCLA 2017:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/18eGDZvLlWh996ocO9qxyBAQ1RfjTjx_qbMLoLTX…
They need tweaking, possibly some additional information, or perhaps outright re-writing depending on the speakers we corral.
I believe the next meeting is November 29th? I need to be reminded of the time since this didn't make it to my calendar at the first announcement.
Thanks.

Hello,
If you're Lindsay, Kevin, Hope, Brenda or Caroline, you can ignore this email. If you're not, could you check out the Doodle Poll for the November meeting. To speed things up you can just look at Nov. 24th 10 AM or 11 AM and Nov. 29th 1:30 or 2:30.
Thanks
Debra

Hi there everyone,
At our last meeting I said I would share the UNBC call for proposals for grants. I have just found it:
http://www.unbc.ca/centre-teaching-and-learning/oer-development-grant
Brenda, I think you were interested in seeing it.
Let me know if there are any questions.

Hello All,
I'm pulling together material for the website and I believe we had some information about promotional kits that someone was working on. Could anyone direct me to this info?
