There are a pretty limited number of sessions at the conference and the committee has to
balance the different library sectors. Perhaps they do think that it is a been there done
that situation. Good idea to think about the open textbook summit. Perhaps we could talk
about that at our next meeting. We do have The Future is Open rescheduled coming up, so we
should be able to catch quite a few library people there.

Hi All
I am very surprised to hear this... I wonder if you might request some feedback from the
committee. Do they feel like this is a "been there done that" presentation? Is
there a national conference you would consider submitting a proposal at?
Also thinking ahead to the Open Textbook Summit in May- wondering if perhaps you might
consider a workshop of some sort that would benefit the OT community?
Thanks!
Amanda

I would like to thank you for submitting a session proposal for the 2017 Conference. This

our limited program.
While your proposal was not selected for this year’s conference we hope you will submit
again for the 2018 Conference.
We ask that you contact any additional presenters / speakers you included in your proposal
and extend our thanks and appreciation for submitting, and our hope that they too will
consider submissions for future conferences.
