Summary of Results

Fanshawe College: “In the colleges we compensate full-time faculty through a course release and part time faculty through a curriculum development contract to the equivalent of the FT folks. This works out to about 6 hrs a week for a 14-week semester and 12 hrs during the condensed 7-week summer term. We provide all the support, and the faculty member is responsible for the content. We take an agile approach where the faculty is delivering one chapter per week, and we are building in pressbooks right behind them. https://fanshawec.libguides.com/c.php?g=724582&p=5205170

Clackamas Community College: The college has developed a chart that summarizes the number of hours per week for different types of OER projects.  Hours range from 1-3 hours/week for 1 term to adopt an OER, up to 6-9 hours/week for 3 terms to author a completely new OER.

Oki, Âba wathtech, Danit'ada, Tawnshi, Hello. SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney. We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the City of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation, Region 3.
