Dear Lauri, I am happy to send send you our update on the OE activities on the University of Lethbridge Campus. Since our working group started actively promoting OER in the Fall of 2016, we've helped raise awareness among our faculty and students. In addition, we've secured some funding to help offset the efforts to create open resources for more than 20 high-impact courses in our university. For 2019, we are planning to * Promote some of the products created with the Open Access Learning Resources Funds + and the people behind it (Currently, we have 12 completed projects and 8 currently running projects; the majority of them are online homework question banks) through news outreach, Faculty-led sessions, website updates<http://www.uleth.ca/teachingcentre/open-educational-resources>, Teaching Symposium, Teaching Magazine and newsletters, etc.) * Add the work of 2 Fine Arts professors to our compilation of OER adopters/ advocates<http://www.uleth.ca/teachingcentre/oer-champions-uleth> * Continue our Awareness Initiative through Workshops and informative sessions hosted by the Teaching Centre or collaboratively with the University Library * start analysing data secured in the 3 runs of our Open Textbook Survey (since Fall 2016) that investigates the perception and use of open textbooks used in the MATH& CS, PHYS & ASTR and CHEM departments * disseminate results from the Open Textbook surveys * collaborate with the UofA in the ABOER Technology and Infrastructure Pressbooks Project I've tried to keep my update as concise as possible, but please don't hesitate to ask any questions if you would like to know more.
