[Canadaoer] Using Open Textbooks in the LMS

Good Morning, I am hoping that someone can point me to a brief guide on using open textbooks from an instructional designer perspective. Covering information such as adding sections of the text to the course and referencing considerations when modifications are made to the work. We have a situation where the instructor does not want to disrupt the flow of the text but needs to distinguish between their words and the sections of the text that they are using.
