Subject: Looking for a French-language editor
Hi all,
We would like to recruit a French language editor to join the editorial team - our CFP specifies that we will accept submissions in either official language, and we need to provide the same level of review and editing for French and English submissions. Please share with anyone in your network who you think might be interested, and ask people to forward! Description below.
A group of us in the RDM community are developing an open RDM textbook – our goal is to create a comprehensive, peer-reviewed academic educational resource suited to the Canadian context – read more about the project and view the call for proposals here. Current project leads / editors are librarians Emily Carlisle-Johnston, Elizabeth Hill and Kristi Thompson. We are looking for a French-language editor to join our team – we will accept chapter submissions in either English or French. The French-language editor would be asked to take the lead on reviewing chapter submissions in French, and supervise production of the French edition of the text. Other roles and responsibilities for the fourth member of the editorial team would depend on background and interest.
Please note that we are all volunteers and this is not a paid position, however we have secured funding for project management and administrative assistance. Please send expressions of interest to rdmoerteam@gmail.com.
