Hello everyone,

Amanda, thank you for the heartfelt endorsement! I completely agree. The conference really benefited from the cross-provincial voices that we had in attendance. And, I know that our colleagues in Ontario were grateful for the opportunity to tap into the other OER movements in Canada as well. I will make sure that invite information for next year is available far in advance so you can plan to attend.

Thank you all for your response to the Doodle poll. The results are in! Here is our confirmed date and time for the next meeting:

December 12, 2:00pm – 3:00pm Eastern time.

I’ll send a calendar invite in a moment to follow-up.

Thank you!

Lena

Subject: [Canadaoer] TESS 17

Hi Canada OER Friends,

Monday/Tuesday this week I had the opportunity to attend the TESS17 conference in Toronto. I wanted to share with you how wonderful this event was. I GREATLY appreciated the Canadian focus in OER- from advocacy, to awareness, to development, and copyright issues. Many times I attend conferences in the US related to OER and this felt like a fabulous fit. I hope you will have the opportunity to attend next year!

Amanda
