The Canada OER Group is a national working group of educators, facilitators, and
administrators from various post-secondary institutions representing nine of our provinces
and territories. The group came together in 2016 to share a common goal: make higher
education more accessible by reducing student costs through the use of free or low-cost
open educational resources (OER).

Subject: [Canadaoer] Canada OER group for CARL Report
Hi there,
I am pulling together a little report on community of practice for OE in Canada for the
CARL OER Librarians group. I wanted to include the Canada OER group and was wondering if
you had a short description handy that I could use? I wasn't sure if the group was
still doing calls and didn't want to misrepresent any details!
Best wishes,
Michelle
