My apologies for that. In terms of updates for our institution, the faculty at Yukon College is starting to become more inclined to the use of OERs, particularly in English and Business Communication. New online courses in these areas are being designed with the principle that most (if not all) resources will be open and accessible to students. OERs are being adopted from a number of sources, and at least a couple of instructors are either adapting or designing their own materials under open license. Our college is unique in terms of courses and student population (a majority is first nations), so we are also trying to include some concepts of indigenization in this process. This is still not an institutional change, but it is part of what our Teaching and Learning Lab is recommending for the future. Next month we will have a week dedicated to faculty PD, and OERs is one of the big themes. The expectation is that other areas will follow the same path.
