I’ve had an instructor ask for help locating OERs
related to shop safety
and power tool use. His exact message: *We are planning to put together a
“module” or “document/policy” regarding safe use of tablesaws and jointers
in our Carpentry and Cabinetmaker shops and wondered what may be available.*
I've look at MERLOT, Alberta OER, SkillsCommons, OERCommons, OASIS,
BCcampus, and the University of Hawai’i. I've found materials related to
OSHA, occupational safety, and CCOHS, but not a specific shop manual for
carpentry or a manual for power tools. (I need to give the U of H textbook
a closer look as some parts may be relevant). I'm hoping someone might
have a lead for me!
Thanks for any assistance,
Jessica
