Hi Elsa,

I'm not aware of this specific adaptation. However, two BC instructors, Charles Molnar from Camosun College and Jane Gair from UVic, developed a major adaptation of OpenStax' Concepts of Biology called: Concepts of Biology- 1st Canadian Edition. It comes with several ancillary resources including PPT slides, lab manual & assignments, and instructional videos.

Subject: [Canadaoer] Adaptation of OpenStax Biology 2e for Canadian audience?

Good morning everyone,

A professor at the University of Regina is currently using the OpenStax Biology 2e textbook as supplementary material in his BIOL 100 course (for biology majors).

Do you know if anyone is adapting Biology 2e for a Canadian audience or adapting the existing ancillary material to support use of this open textbook?

Thanks very much for your consideration.

Elsa
