This week the World celebrates Open Access Week<http://www.openaccessweek.org/>, exploring the theme - Open with Purpose, Taking Action to Build Structural Equity and Inclusion. BCIT is proud to contribute to this discussion by co-hosting an event featuring our own Carol Wenzel, in the faculty of biotechnology who co-produced an open animal dissection image library<https://open.bcit.ca/oer/islandora/object/oer%3Adimages>. She is also wrapping up her second open education grant project, a plant anatomy and morphology image library, with co-op student Horton Lai.
